AB InBev, the global beer giant, has recently announced an extension of its longstanding partnership with Fifa to include the Fifa Club World Cup 2025 as the official beer partner. This partnership builds on nearly 40 years of collaboration between AB InBev and Fifa, with the company also set to sponsor the Fifa World Cup 2026, hosted across 16 cities in Canada, Mexico, and the US.

The Fifa Club World Cup 2025 will see 32 of the world’s best football clubs competing in 11 cities across the US from 15 June to 13 July. As part of the agreement, AB InBev will create unique brand experiences in participating countries, present the “Player of the Match Award,” and showcase memorable moments from the tournament for legal drinking age fans.

This expanded partnership highlights AB InBev’s strategy of connecting beer with global events that resonate with consumers. Leading the partnership will be megabrands Budweiser and Michelob Ultra, supported by local brands in specific markets.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino expressed his excitement about AB InBev’s involvement, stating, “AB InBev has been an iconic sponsor of our events for almost 40 years, and today we are excited to see them come on board as a partner of the new FIFA Club World Cup. We are embarking on a journey that will redefine club football and create a new global tournament. With AB InBev’s brands, we are creating unforgettable moments for football fans around the world.”

AB InBev CEO, Michel Doukeris, emphasized the company’s commitment to meaningful cultural moments and iconic sporting events. “This partnership with the Fifa Club World Cup continues our legacy of bringing beer and sports together for fans worldwide, creating more moments of celebration and cheers. We look forward to activating this first-of-its-kind tournament next summer in partnership with Fifa.”
