Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole recently opened up about his 2020 collaboration with Sarkodie and Bosom P-Yung on the song Makoma. This collaboration was highly anticipated by fans and industry insiders, with many expecting it to solidify Kofi Mole’s position as a rising star in the music scene.

Despite Kofi Mole’s previous hits like Don’t Be Late and Nirvanna featuring Kwesi Arthur, Makoma did not receive the success and recognition that was initially expected. A fan recently took to social media to express disappointment in the lack of promotion for the song, comparing Sarkodie’s transition into a more melodic style to Bruno Mars.

In response to the criticism, Kofi Mole revealed that he was ready to shoot a music video for Makoma but did not receive any response from Sarkodie and his team despite multiple attempts to reach out. This revelation sparked a debate among fans, with some supporting Kofi Mole’s efforts and others questioning his approach to promoting the track.

While some fans commended Kofi Mole for his transparency and encouraged him to focus on building his music catalogue, others criticized his lack of promotion for the song. The discussion on social media highlighted the challenges that artists face when collaborating with established names in the industry, emphasizing the importance of communication and promotion in the music business.

Kofi Mole’s experience serves as a reminder of the complexities involved in working with industry veterans and the importance of proactive promotion and communication in the competitive music industry. Despite the setbacks with Makoma, Kofi Mole remains determined to continue creating music and navigating the challenges of the industry.
