Golden Arrows secured a well-deserved victory against Kaizer Chiefs in a thrilling Betway Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Gladwin Shitolo, the Arrows captain, attributed their success to prayer and determination.

Shitolo expressed, “We wanted it more.” His outstanding performance on the field earned him the Man-of-the-Match Award. The team’s focus on prayer during the week seemed to have paid off as they clinched a crucial win against Chiefs.

The Arrows had been struggling to find the back of the net in their previous matches, but their prayers were answered as they moved up to fifth place in the Premiership standings after the victory over Chiefs.

During the game, Shitolo showcased his defensive prowess with crucial interceptions and ultimately scored the winning goal in the 57th minute. His powerful finish into the roof of the net came after Bruce Bvuma parried Siyanda Mthanthi’s shot into his path.

Leading by example, Shitolo emphasized the importance of hard work and setting a positive example for his teammates. He dedicated the win to the Arrows chairperson, Mato Madlala, highlighting the significance of the victory for the entire team and the chairlady.

The match was a challenging one, but Shitolo’s leadership and determination shone through as Golden Arrows emerged victorious. The team’s commitment to prayer and hard work proved to be the winning formula against Kaizer Chiefs.
