Sundowns Legend Hlompho Kekana Confident in Team’s Ability to Win Against Richards Bay

As the highly anticipated Betway Premiership match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Richards Bay approaches, former Sundowns striker Katlego Mashego and legend Hlompho Kekana have shared their insights on the upcoming clash.

With Richards Bay languishing in 15th place and coming off a recent coaching change after a winless streak, Mashego is adamant that Sundowns will have no trouble securing a victory. “It’s a game Mamelodi Sundowns should win,” Mashego stated confidently, pointing to the Tshwane giants’ strength and resources.

On the other hand, Kekana, who now serves as an analyst, echoed Mashego’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of Sundowns playing their trademark style of football. “Sundowns should easily win the match if they play the Mamelodi Sundowns way. If Sundowns play their way, they will win easily and comfortably,” Kekana affirmed.

Highlighting the need for midfield dominance and strategic play, Kekana emphasized the importance of denying Richards Bay key opportunities. “Make sure that for long periods of time, they don’t have the ball, and you must shift them around so that by the time they get the ball, you can easily get it back,” Kekana advised.

With Sundowns riding high on three successive victories under new coach Miguel Cardoso, the team’s confidence is soaring. The recent positive results have boosted morale within the squad, setting the stage for a potentially dominant performance against Richards Bay.

As the match draws near, all eyes will be on Sundowns to see if they can maintain their winning streak and secure a convincing victory. With the support of their loyal fans and a strong lineup, Sundowns are poised to showcase their prowess and claim another important win in the Betway Premiership.
