FBI arrests Jeremiah High in connection with tribal reservation fatal shooting

Federal authorities made a significant breakthrough in the case of the fatal shooting of a 7-year-old boy on the Ute Mountain Ute reservation. Jeremiah High, a 23-year-old member of the Ute Mountain Ute tribe, was arrested near Monument Valley, Utah. The FBI had offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture. High faces charges of murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence in connection with the tragic incident that took place on December 11.

The young victim, identified as Zamias Lang, lost his life in the senseless act of violence.
