Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputies Investigating Suspicious Death of Woman Near Jamestown
Boulder County sheriff’s deputies are currently conducting an investigation after the discovery of a deceased woman near Jamestown on Saturday evening.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to the 200 block of Ridge Road in unincorporated Boulder County at around 9 p.m. on Saturday in response to reports of a missing person. During the search, deputies located the body of a 49-year-old woman whose identity remains undisclosed at this time.
Authorities have deemed the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death as “suspicious” and are currently interviewing individuals who were acquainted with her.
As of Sunday, no specific details regarding the nature of the suspicious death or any potential suspects have been disclosed. Despite this, the sheriff’s office has reassured the public that there is no ongoing threat to safety in the area.
The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for officially identifying the deceased woman and determining the cause and manner of her death at a later time.
