PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi Addresses Mohamed Salah Rumors
Following a turbulent period for Paris Saint-Germain, club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has broken his silence to discuss the upcoming transfer window and address the ongoing speculation surrounding Mohamed Salah. The recent string of disappointing results, including a Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich and a draw against Nantes, has sparked rumors of unrest within the PSG squad.
Reports have emerged suggesting that certain players, led by Ousmane Dembélé and Presnel Kimpembe, are growing increasingly frustrated with manager Luis Enrique. The coach is rumored to be facing difficulties with key players such as Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Asensio, and Fabian Ruiz. Despite the mounting pressure, PSG’s management continues to stand by Enrique for the time being.
Clarifying the Rumors
In the midst of speculation about potential squad changes, the name of Mohamed Salah has emerged as a possible target for PSG. The Liverpool forward, who has been in impressive form this season with 13 goals and 11 assists, will be out of contract next June, allowing him to negotiate with other clubs from January onwards.
However, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has moved to dismiss rumors linking Salah with a move to PSG. Speaking to Sky Germany, the PSG president stated, “It is not true. He is a fantastic and incredible player, but we have never considered him, to be honest. We know that all the clubs would like to have him, but this rumor about us is simply false. If there is an opportunity, we will explore it of course.”
Al-Khelaïfi’s comments suggest that while Salah is a highly sought-after player, PSG is not actively pursuing a deal for the Egyptian forward at this time. The club will continue to assess potential transfer opportunities as they look to strengthen their squad in the upcoming transfer windows.
