Governor Yahaya Bello of Nigeria’s Kogi State who goes by the nickname, White Lion, has left office after serving the two terms permitted by Nigeria’s constitution. However, opponents say he may just have begun his third term in office by proxy, having installed his kinsman and godson, Usman Ododo, as his successor, who in turn has retained key members of Bello’s cabinet.
