After appearing in The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian series, Ahsoka Tano finally got her own show on Disney+.
Ahsoka was brought into the live-action world in The Mandalorian Chapter 13, The Jedi. In her own quest, she and Sabine Wren went across the galaxy to search for two key figures: Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
All episodes of Ahsoka have now aired on Disney+, and the show left things quite open-ended. If you’re wondering whether Ahsoka will return for season 2, then we’ve rounded up everything we know.
Will Ahsoka return for season 2?
Yes – in the official announcement for The Mandalorian & Grogu movie, Lucasfilm also confirmed that work has begun on Ahsoka season 2.
Ahsoka’s follow-up will be helmed by Dave Filoni, creator of season 1.

What will the plot of Ahsoka season 2 be?
Spoilers for season 1 of Ahsoka below
The final episode of Ahsoka was rather bittersweet for our heroes. Whilst Ahsoka and Sabine managed to finally send Ezra Bridger back home (to a galaxy far, far away), the pair were left stranded on Peridea.
In the process of aiding Ezra, they also let Grand Admiral Thrawn walk free. We know that in the future, the First Order is established. It is possible that Thrawn plays a part in this.
Ezra is now back with Hera, so its likely that the pair will now be on a rescue mission for Ahsoka and Sabine. Keep in mind of course that Shin is still on Peridea as well, and her allegiance remains quite unclear.
Baylan also discovered a monument to the Mortis gods, which could mean that there is more to this barren planet than we might have originally thought. The Mortis gods are from The Clone Wars, and are avatars of the Force. Fans are speculating whether this planet is in fact Mortis itself, or if its a gateway to the world between worlds.
