AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a global leader in commercial aircraft, has recently completed the acquisition of two Bombardier CRJ1000 aircraft from Regional One. These aircraft, with serial numbers MSN 19004 and MSN 19009, have been placed with Cally Air, the state-backed carrier of Cross River State, Nigeria. Under a finance lease agreement with AFG, Cally Air will operate these modern and fuel-efficient regional jets to enhance connectivity within Nigeria and expand routes across West Africa.

The addition of these aircraft to Cally Air’s fleet marks a significant milestone in the airline’s growth strategy. By providing a solid operational foundation, these aircraft will support the airline’s expansion plans and contribute to the development of regional trade, tourism, and sustainable economic growth.

Christian Nuehlen, the Founder and CEO of AFG, expressed his excitement about the new partnership, stating that Africa’s aviation sector is primed for remarkable growth. AFG is dedicated to providing the necessary aircraft, financing solutions, and expertise to help its partners realize their full potential in this dynamic market.

Christian Hatje, AFG’s Senior VP Commercial, emphasized the company’s commitment to the African aviation sector and its belief in the continent’s vast opportunities. With a proven track record in structuring complex transactions and delivering aircraft on time and within budget, AFG continues to be a trusted partner for airlines, lessors, and aviation stakeholders looking to expand their operations in Africa and other high-potential markets.

AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany (AFG), specializes in aircraft trading, asset management, leasing, financing, and strategic advisory services for commercial and business aviation. With a focus on delivering tailored solutions and operational excellence, AFG is a preferred partner for clients worldwide seeking growth opportunities in both established and emerging markets.
