Sinoxolo Kwayiba Eyes Move to South Africa’s Big Three Clubs
After his impressive performance and goal for Bafana Bafana in their recent friendly against Mozambique, Chippa United forward Sinoxolo Kwayiba has revealed his desire to play for one of South Africa’s top clubs – Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, or Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 25-year-old striker, who was named Man-of-the-Match after scoring in Bafana’s 2-0 victory, is reportedly set to join Orlando Pirates for the upcoming season. However, Kwayiba has expressed his hopes of playing for a bigger team in the future and eventually making a move overseas.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Kwayiba said, “Let’s hope it happens. I am hoping to play for a big team here and after that to play overseas. Let’s say in the big three. I won’t mention anyone, but I want to play for one of the three.”
Reflecting on his first goal for the national team, Kwayiba expressed his joy and gratitude, stating, “I am feeling very happy. I have been praying for this. I have been scoring with my team (Chippa) in the PSL, but I have been praying to get a goal for Bafana. Dreams do come true.”
Despite not being a regular starter for Bafana Bafana, Kwayiba remains optimistic about his future with the national team and is eager to continue learning and improving alongside his teammates.
With his sights set on a potential move to one of South Africa’s top clubs, Kwayiba’s impressive performance and goal-scoring abilities could soon see him donning the jersey of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, or Mamelodi Sundowns. Only time will tell if his aspirations will come to fruition, but for now, Kwayiba remains focused on making his mark both domestically and internationally.
