Reports indicate that two men pretending to be passengers tried to board a commercial minibus, but a third armed accomplice emerged from the bushes and opened fire, leading to the death of the conductor.
After the assailants took a sack from the driver, which he had received in Wenchi, they fired warning shots and fled the scene. Mr. Ibrahim Yogo, Assembly Member for Ayinasusu, confirmed the incident and mentioned that this was the first time such an incident had occurred in the area. The police were alerted, but the robbers had already escaped by the time they arrived.
