Al Ahly asserted their dominance early on in a highly anticipated clash against Al Hilal Omdurman, scoring in the 11th minute. The goal came from a well-executed attack that saw the Egyptian giants apply pressure on their Sudanese opponents. A powerful shot from outside the box was initially saved by the Al Hilal goalkeeper, but Ahmed Hanny was quick to react, smashing the rebound into the top left corner with precision.

From that moment on, Al Ahly controlled the game, dictating the pace and leaving Al Hilal struggling to keep up. The Egyptian side’s relentless pressing and quick transitions kept their opponents on the back foot, with Al Hilal finding it hard to settle into their rhythm. Al Ahly’s attacking prowess was on full display as they continuously tested the Hilal defense with sharp passes and dangerous runs down the wings.

Meanwhile, Al Hilal found it challenging to build from the back, as Al Ahly’s high pressing forced errors and hurried clearances. The midfield battle was won by the visitors, who maintained possession and kept Al Hilal pinned in their own half.

As the match progressed, Al Ahly’s forwards continued to combine effectively, creating more scoring opportunities. The Al Hilal goalkeeper made several important saves to keep his team in the game, but the Sudanese side knew they needed to respond quickly to have any chance of a comeback.

Despite Al Ahly’s dominance, Al Hilal held firm defensively towards the end of the first half, hoping to regroup and make a stronger showing in the second leg of the match.

Overall, Al Ahly’s performance showcased their quality and determination, while Al Hilal will need to regroup and come back stronger in the next encounter. The match was a spectacle of skill and strategy, with Al Ahly emerging as the dominant force on the day.
