Rafatu Inusah replaces Herbert Mensah as President of Ghana Rugby Football Union

Rafatu Inusah has been elected as the new President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union for the next four years. She emerged victorious in the election, running unopposed to fill the position previously held by Herbert Mensah, who has now taken on the role of President of Africa Rugby.

Rafatu’s journey in rugby began as an athlete, where she showcased her skills on the field. Over time, she transitioned into coaching and eventually moved into various administrative roles within the sport. Her experience and dedication to rugby have earned her a well-deserved place as the head of the Ghana Rugby Football Union.

In addition to her new role as President, Rafatu is also a valuable member of the Women’s Advisory Committee of Rugby Africa. This position allows her to contribute to the growth and development of women’s rugby across the continent, highlighting her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the sport.

As Rafatu takes on this new leadership role, there is no doubt that she will bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the Ghana Rugby Football Union. Her passion for the sport, coupled with her experience and expertise, will undoubtedly lead the union to new heights during her tenure.
