Crash Closes Eastbound Interstate 70 near Glenwood Springs
On Sunday evening, Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed near Glenwood Springs due to a crash, as reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The closure occurred approximately 10 miles east of Glenwood Springs, between exit 125 for Hanging Lake and exit 129 for Bair Ranch, according to CDOT officials. Fortunately, the interstate was reopened just before 6 p.m. on Sunday.
During the closure, multiple Waze users in the area reported standstill traffic backing up 2 miles east of the crash, causing delays for motorists.
