When Beyoncé moves, the world stops. And with only 11 days left until a new president is elected, the queen has just made her final move! According to confirmed reports, Beyoncé is set to appear at Vice President Kamala Harris’ next rally in the singer’s hometown of Houston, Texas.
The move comes after months of speculation if the Grammy award-winning singer would formally endorse the Democratic nominee for president. We know Bey gave Harris the rights to use her song “Freedom” as Harris’ official campaign song months ago, but now, we finally know exactly where Beyoncé stands… and it’s right next to Harris!
According to the Washington Post, Beyoncé is set to pop out at Harris’ Friday rally. Additionally, the singer will be joined by her mother, Tina Knowles, and country music icon, Willie Nelson. Nelson was also featured twice on Beyoncé’s latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” a nod to Beyoncé’s country roots and Black country music.
Unlike before when Beyoncé was falsely rumored to perform at the Democratic National Convention, the singer has been confirmed for Friday’s rally. And with this Beyoncé rally appearance, she will join A-list celebrities like Taylor Swift and Eminem who have all pledged support for Harris in recent weeks.
Beyoncé tends to keep her nose clean of politics, but she is no stranger to formal endorsements and surprise appearances. Back in 2016, Queen Bey endorsed then Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton for president. Before then, the “Halo” singer sang the national anthem at former President Barack Obama’s 2013 inauguration.
It hasn’t been confirmed if Beyoncé will only be speaking or maybe performing at the rally, but either way, we know she will be there! And with only days to go until election night, that’s more than enough to hope for.
Just as Harris is seemingly not slowing down until Nov. 5, former President Donald Trump continues to make his waves across the country to garner more MAGA support.
