The twists and turns when it comes to the Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering case just keep getting wilder. In a Sept. 27 interview with NewsNation, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd — a lawyer for one of Combs’ accusers —claimed that someone reached out to her regarding an alleged pornographic tape.
Mitchell-Kidd stated that someone who is “more high-profile” than the disgraced mogul is featured in the video but didn’t seem to be an “active participant in the videotaping.”
The attorney is representing a woman who says Combs sexually assaulted with an inanimate object in 2018. During the interview on “Banfield,” Mitchell-Kidd said she was “contacted by someone who wanted me to essentially represent them” in the sale of the alleged tape. However, the lawyer ultimately declined.
“There already have been tapes leaking around Hollywood, being shopped around to individuals in Hollywood, but one particular person contacted me to shop a particular video they were in possession of and to contact the person who was in the video to see if they were interested in purchasing the video before it became a public knowledge,” Mitchell-Kidd explained.
When asked by host Laura Ingle to give more detail, Mitchell-Kidd said she “can’t explain” who the other person was in the video. However, she insisted that it is legit and that the person on it seemingly didn’t know they were being recorded.
“I’ve seen stills of the video, okay, so you can verify that it exists, that it’s real, that the other person in the video is very visible,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “It’s no question if it’s that person in the video, and I can tell the video was pornographic in nature.”
On X, users responded to this explosive news with shock, disgust and fatigue. One user, @ThisisJDP, tweeted that Diddy’s story has no clear end in sight. “They said they’ve got high profile celebrities, politicians, etc..on tape at these Diddy parties, this story is gonna go on all 24′,” they wrote.
Another personality, @maveapproach, managed to succinctly express the severity of the situation. They stated: “The bomb is about to go off.”
Another personality, @QueenG940, spoke for many when they expressed shock: “Oh wow, I wonder who is in. The tape with Diddy crazy,” they said.
Another user, @flossysvmi, noted the depraved nature of the high profile celebrity being blackmailed because of the alleged tape. “I’m stuck on them looking to contact them to see if they want to buy before it’s public,” they remarked.
Mitchell-Kidd also stated that the video was allegedly filmed in a Atlanta home that used to belong to Combs. Earlier this month, the 54-year-old rap mogul was arrested in Manhattan by federal authorities.
His indictment was unsealed and revealed charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and engaging in interstate transportation for prostitution. The allegations against Combs include sexual abuse, physical abuse, bribery and various drug offenses.
The most notable claims stem from his so-called “freak off” sex parties, where prosecutors allege women and men were drugged and forced to perform sexual acts at Combs’ pleasure. He was also accused of using video footage to blackmail the victims into compliance.
