Jamie Foxx is about to get all the way real about his mysterious “medical complication” that put him in the hospital back in April 2023.
Announcing in an Instagram post on Tuesday, the “Ray” star revealed that he’s set to spill the tea during a three-night event in Atlanta called “One More Chance: An Evening with Jamie Foxx.” Taking place Oct.3-5, this “intimate and engaging” performance will see Foxx open up about his health struggles, triumphs, and everything in between.
While ticket information has yet to become available, the “Any Given Sunday” star guaranteed nights of “laughter, reflection, and genuine connection” with his fans fort the forthcoming event.
Since his release, he’s been appreciative for his fan support and expressed his gratitude for the prayers and well wishes he received while he was down. But, he’s also notably given minimal details both on social media and in the few rare public appearances he done since then.
The most recent pieces of information came back in July when the “Law Abiding Citizen” star told a group of random people in Phoenix how he remembered experiencing a headache leading up to his hospitalization.
“Look, April 11th last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil. I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything,” he said at the time.
“I’m in Atlanta, they told me, my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor. The next doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there,’”he said pointing to his head.
Hopefully, now that this is a ticketed occasion, this will finally be the place where Foxx gets transparent about what really happened to him.
