All the rumors are true—Lizzo is back on her fitness grind and she’s celebrating her progress on social media.
If you’ve been paying attention to her Instagram page, the “Truth Hurts” singer posted a video back in May of her working out in the gym with celebrity trainer and “body transformation specialist” Corey Calliet (yes, “Creed III” and “Black Panther” Calliet who whipped Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors into shape.) Since then, she’s posted more and more snippets of her fitness journey with the most recent being a before-and-after video in mid-August.
Now however, since she’s been in Bali for nearly two weeks, she’s been posting a handful of swimsuit selfies. Her latest one—posted over the Labor Day holiday weekend where she’s sporting an itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny red bikini—has taken the internet by storm.
“All my swimsuits are red,” she captioned in the post to Instagram.
In the comments, her fans and followers praised her for her weight loss and for her steaming hot pics.
“Girl ain’t nobody looking at that purple swimsuit,” one user joked.
“It’s giving tropical and Caribbean Queen,” said another. (While the sentiment is sweet, geographically the Bali Sea and Indian Ocean surround that area.)
“Keep up the good work,” wrote another user.
“You are my inspiration,” another commented.
The positivity for the pop singer is breath of fresh air given the ongoing legal sexual harassment lawsuit filed by three of former backup dancers. Lizzo has denied any and all wrongdoing and is currently appealing the case to keep it from moving forward.
