Denver police have closed a block of Curtis Street and issued a shelter-in-place for the area after reports of shots being fired.
A shelter-in-place has been issued for part of the Central Business District neighborhood, including the intersection of 17th Street and Curtis Street, while police investigate a report of shots fired, according to a 10:35 a.m. X post by the Denver Police Department.
Officers closed the 1700 block of Curtis Street and the situation is under investigation, according to a 11:35 a.m. update from the department.
No injuries have been reported at this time, according to police.
