The 2024 Tony Awards took place live from the Lincoln Center in New York City on Sunday. And while there were only a handful of Black nominees this year, that didn’t stop any of them from showing up and styling to the max on the red carpet.
Chief among them was Alicia Keys, whose Broadway debut “Hell’s Kitchen” was up for a whopping 13 nominations.
Despite only going home with two awards, that didn’t keep Keys from being red hot on the carpet and giving a fire performance with Jay-Z as a love letter to her hometown of New York.
Because Keys wasn’t the only one looking good while gracing the carpet, let’s take a look at a handful of other Black stars and nominees who brought a boatload of colorful style and serious fashion to the Great White Way.
