One person has died and “multiple others” injured following a four-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in Arvada, according to the Arvada Police Department.
Arvada Fire posted on X that it was “on scene of a motor vehicle collision” at 4 p.m. at the intersection of West 64th Avenue and Lamar Street. At 4:35 p.m., the Arvada Police Department posted on X that the crash had resulted in one fatality and several other people were transported to area hospitals.
The crash closed down roadways in the area for several hours. The intersection was reopened by 7:55 p.m., Arvada Police said.
