Service on RTD’s E and H light rail lines will be reduced through at least Monday due to a train stuck on the tracks, the agency said Friday.
A train has been stuck between the Southmoor and Yale stations in Denver since Wednesday, and trains are moving on a single track between the stations. The E and H lines are running at a reduced frequency every 45 minutes.
Service will be impacted through Monday “or until service can be restored on both tracks,” RTD said in a news release Friday.
The agency will add extra train cars to the E and W light rail lines on accommodate people attending events downtown Saturday night.
Riders boarding at the Southmoor and Yale stations should board on the northbound track.
