A woman was shot dead inside an Aurora residence Thursday evening, and police are searching for the suspected shooter.
Aurora police responded to the 10700 block of East Exposition Avenue at about 7 p.m. after a 911 caller reported overhearing an argument followed by shot fired when on the phone, according to a police department post on X, formerly Twitter.
Once entering the location, police found a woman with a gunshot wound. She died at the scene.
As of 9:30 p.m. Thursday, a suspect has not been identified and there are no arrests.
