“My dream is to become a doctor so that I can help my community,” says 19-year Gloria Mwape who, four years ago, had resigned her education journey to fate.
“It is not easy to look after my son and also help my grandmother, and also do household chores, but school is my number one priority…this is my last and only hope,” Gloria tells The Africa Report at her village in Serenje, a town in Central province, about 420km north of the capital, Lusaka.
