A truck carrying a full load of Palisade peaches crashed on Interstate 70 just outside Denver early Thursday morning, closing the eastbound lanes of the interstate for several hours.
Not a peachy drive into work from the mountains this morning. Eastbound I-70 is down to one lane on the approach to the Morrison/259 exit while crews work to remove a crashed semi.
Area should smell good until the sun bakes the lost load.
Minor injuries to the driver.

One lane of the interstate has reopened, but crews are still working to clean up the peaches and debris, according to a post from the Colorado State Patrol. Expect delays.
The crash was first reported about 2:20 a.m. just west of Golden between exits 259 and 260.
